All sports fans seem to agree on one thing: all-black uniforms are awesome.

On Thursday, the Florida Gators’ recently hired head football coach Billy Napier revealed that his team will be sporting all-black uniforms for the near future.

The fan-favorite movement will also include charities.

“We’re going to wear black uniforms here at the University of Florida,” Napier said, per Richard Johnson of Sports Illustrated.

“But every single one of these uniforms that we wear, we’re going to auction them off and we’re going to sell them and take the money and we’re going to donate it to the families who may have suffered some type of injury and setback and who are living a little bit different way of life due to their military service and failure.

Napier said it’s unlikely the Jordan brand will be able to get those black uniforms ready before the start of the 2022 season. But, the new digs should be ready before the Gators’ 2023 campaign.

Months before the start of his first season with the Florida program, Napier has already earned some brownie points with the Gator faithful.
