“Football Jersey” day to support Footy Force

Football Jersey Day is a fundraising campaign to support Footy Force and the Bermuda Heart Foundation. Friday [Dec 6] people are encouraged to wear any soccer jersey of their choice with a $ 5 donation.

All funds raised go directly to Footy Force and the Bermuda Heart Foundation. Funds raised for Footy Force will help cover expenses incurred during the year including, but not limited to, equipment, training costs, rental of facilities, learning sessions of the everyday life and team travel.

Funds raised for the Bermuda Heart Foundation will help promote change through awareness, prevention and education; support and guide patients and their families; promote recovery through innovative therapy.

Footy Force will conclude “Football Shirt” day with an open futsal session on December 6th at Warwick Academy from 6.30pm. Players aged 8-14 can participate and wear their favorite team’s jersey.

Additionally, if anyone has any unused / unwanted football equipment such as balls, shoes, shirts, etc. that he wishes to give to children in need, there will be a drop box during the open session.

Companies can participate in groups. In addition, there will also be donation drop-off points at the 27th Century Boutique, Soccer Plus and Warwick Academy. [after 6:30pm] or send an email to [email protected]
