Hardcore Aggie fans fry a South Carolina football helmet

Ahead of Saturday’s road game between unbeaten Texas A&M Aggies and South Carolina Gamecocks, some die-hard Aggie fans pounded and fried a Gamecocks football helmet, all on video.

The whole thing was posted on the Aggies TexAgs website on Wednesday, complete with lounge score and sound effects, just like those recipe videos we’ve all seen and drooled over.

For what it’s worth, the headphones melted wonderfully during the process, although we don’t think it would taste great beyond egg batter.

So far, the TexAgs have toasted, crushed and frozen in liquid nitrogen the various football helmets of Aggie’s opponents this season to motivate fans. The one-season series has led to many viral videos. We hope this is the start of a great tradition.

Blowing up the Prairie View A&M cupcake batch was just cruel because they looked pretty tasty.

The Aggies-Gamecocks match kicks off at 3 p.m. on Saturday. The Aggies are coming off a 45-24 win over Arkansas, so morale is pretty good at College Station for this game.

The Aggies, who won last year’s contest with South Carolina at College Station, are the favorites to repeat the victory.

We’d say it was a waste of a perfectly good football helmet, but it had a Gamecocks logo on it, already ruined to begin with.
